Supernova is one of the most important annual music events in Latvia – it is when the public chooses who will be the one representing Latvia in the Eurovision song contest. The friendly credit company Ondo.lv,being the main patron of the competition, wanted to leave a distinct and so far unparalleled footprint in the history of Latvian TV shows. The result is the mobile application Supernova, the users can vote for the musician who they think will win the contest.
For the first time TV viewers were able to express their prognosis about the potential winner with the help of an application. Viewer reach and involvement over so short period of time showed record high results:
1. More than 9 000 unique visits;
2. 7000 prognoses made.
